With 1 rolled out to date, the parklets are characterised by greenery, seating, and in some cases bike racks. Parklets are a sidewalk extension meant for recreation. Designed to increase the physical space of businesses and how patrons interact with it. Parklets convert car space to people space, they bring a bit of scenery to the concrete jungle and add character to the surrounding areas.
Improved lighting will assist in decreasing crime and promote a sense of safety and festivity. Signage will be carefully considered to avoid overcrowding and provide clear brand visibility and recognition.
